Want more traffic to your Virtual Assistance website? Do you want potential clients to ‘stick around’ longer once they get there? Here are 3 super-simple fixes you can implement today to attract more visitors and keep them interested.
1. The most important thing on your website is your header. It is the first thing people see when they arrive at your site and is often found on every page of your website too. The header sets the look and feel for your business so you should try to make sure it is giving the right ‘message’. Is it professional? Fun? Attractive? Welcoming? If a potential client doesn’t like your header it can be an instant deal-breaker that has them leaving your site before reading 1 single word.
2. Have areas on your site where potential clients can interact with you even further. Things like a contact form, links to all of your social media accounts and even allowing comments on your blog are good ways to encourage visitors to chat.
3. Don’t use canned content – write something interesting. Did you copy the same key phrases and sentences that all the other Virtual Assistants are using on their websites? BO-RING!!! (and possibly illegal depending how much you copied!) It’s a personal pet peeve of mine to see those common, overused phrases on Virtual Assistant sites that are used again and again and again. Visitors to your website want to read something interesting and new. They want to find out who YOU are and what makes you different from other VA’s.
