There are a lot of…interesting ways to keep your Virtual Assistant busy. More importantly, there are a lot of unique and creative ways to free up your own time by putting a Virtual Assistant on the job. It might seem crazy at first, but over the next few weeks I’ll be posting a few jobs ideas to get your creative juices flowin’!
If you’ve ever had something go wrong in your house – then you already know what a nightmare it can be to find a plumber/electrician/contractor to get something fixed fast. You’re usually at the mercy of your contractor to basically pay them whatever they ask…and who has time to check their references? The next time the sink starts that annoying drip…drip…drip – call your Virtual Assistant instead! She can research and interview plumbers in your area – and even check their references and schedule a time for the work to be done. I’ve done this myself and I promise you – it will free HOURS of your own time and save you the the price of your headache meds as well!
You never know what little mishap life might throw your way – a snowstorm? Use your VA to find a snow-removal service. High Winds brought a tree down? Call your Virtual Assistant and let her find a tree-removal service to have that taken care of for you. Need new garage doors installed? Give the details to your VA and let her gather quotes and provide you with a comparison chart. It might even save you some money in the long run!
Whenever you find yourself massaging your temples and grumbling “I don’t have time for this” well – you’re probably right. Do yourself a favour. Call your VA!
