Want to Star in a Movie?

Who doesn’t love the idea of being a movie star?

Unfortunately, I’m not really offering you a role in  a motion picture.  (I’m actually just going to tell you about how you can create your own really cool facebook timeline movie – starring YOU)

But before I do that I’ll give you a quick heads-up:

Today’s blog has absolutely nothing to do with being a VA or business.  Today’s post is just about 3 insanely fun things you can do online.  And if we can’t be movie stars we could at least have a little more fun in our lives right?  So without further adieu, here are 3 cool things to try out when you need a little ‘me’ time.

1.  Facebook’s “Timeline Movie Maker”  www.timelinemoviemaker.com  So easy to play with…just allow the app access to your facebook account, choose the kind of ‘soundtrack’ you want for background music and the timeline movie maker will use your uploaded photos to make a short film about your facebook life.  When you’re done – you can share it with your friends if you want (Drawback:  I can’t share mine with you unless we are friends on facebook)  If you’re like me – a sucker for anything nostalgic – then this one’s for you.  Enjoy that little journey down memory lane!

2.  Online Virtual Makeover time!  Check out: www.taaz.com My daughter and I played with this one for hours.  Just upload a picture of your own face with hair pulled back and no make-up.  Then – go crazy! – You can give yourself a make-over using endless colors and brands of make-up, try on new hairstyles (or colors) and even give yourself a ‘celebrity makeover’  (I look really good as Carrie Underwood – just sayin’)  Warning:  huge time suck…once you get started with this it’s hard to put it away!

3. Fun Google Stuff.  If you’ve never heard about all the Easter Eggs that Google developers have ‘hidden’ for no other reason than to bring a smile to your face, then this is your lucky day. Want to try a few?  Go to ‘Google’ and search for one of the following words…You won’t be disappointed!

• Tilt
• Do a barrel roll
• Zerg Rush
• Askew
